Southside Baptist Church RA Crusaders participate in a mission project   (October, 1999)
Carey Stark's 4th grade class spent their classroom time on a Wednesday evening packing toiletry bags. The bags will be sent to the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf in Jamaica. This mission project is sponsored by the Southside Baptist Church Silent Friends (deaf ministry)
The toiletry bags included such items as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, mouthwash, razor, cotton swabs, and pain reliever. These everyday products, taken for granted in the USA, are hard to come by in Jamaica and will be very much appreciated by those receiving these bags.

The bags contained a small note with the RA Crusader motto: "Helping Others in Jesus' Name" and were signed by the young man who packed the bag.

Participants, L to R:
Keving Browning, Jr., Penn Mobley, Floyd Beasley, Patrick Cooper, Richard Pershey, Corey Jaudon, Kyle Canady, Jay Hoskins, Powell Branson.
